Not all investment options available on our products are part of the asset allocation models. For information on all of our investment options, refer to our investment options brochure or our website. Average annual model performance is shown based on the actual performance of each investment option making up the model, based on model allocation, for the time during which the investment option was a part of the model. In this way, each model has had a continuous performance record since its inception date indicated below. Average annual model performance shown here may vary slightly from actual policy performance because the above performance assumes the models are rebalanced daily and actual policies are rebalanced quarterly. All models may not be available with all products and riders. All models may not be suitable for all investors.

Risks of Certain Kinds of Portfolios
Money market portfolios are not insured by the FDIC or any governmental agency. Although they seek to preserve value at $1.00 per share, it is possible for a money market portfolio to lose money.

Overseas/emerging market, sector, and high income and small cap portfolios involve additional risk than may exist in portfolios investing in larger, more established or diversified companies in established countries. More information about the specific risks involved can be found in each such portfolio's prospectus and by clicking on the fund portfolio name, above. The prospectuses for all of the portfolios available through the policy may be downloaded from this website, or contact us to send you a free copy.

Performance Data
The above performance returns reflect fees and charges assessed by the fund companies and current mortality and expenses and administrative risk charges deducted from separate account assets. Some portfolio advisors have agreed to limit their expenses; without these limits, performance would have been lower. The above returns do not reflect the individual cost of insurance, monthly administrative, or surrender charges associated with the policy and levied on total policy value, or premium taxes levied by some states. Had these fees and charges been deducted, the performance quoted would have been lower. Yields shown are "annualized" yields. This means the income generated during the measured seven days is assumed to be generated each week over a 52 week period, and not reinvested, and is shown as a percentage of the investment.

We encourage you to obtain a personalized illustration which reflects all charges of the policy and the impact of those charges upon performance; contact your registered representative or us. See the prospectus for detailed information about policy charges and fund expenses.

For periods prior to the date the policy subaccount began operation, performance data will be calculated based on the performance of the underlying portfolio and the assumption that the subaccounts were in existence for the same periods as those indicated for the underlying portfolio with the level of policy charges that were in effect at the inception of the subaccount.

Past performance is no guarantee of future results. The return and principal value of an investment will fluctuate so that investor’s shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost.

Non-standardized Performance Data
Non-standardized average annual total return for a specific period is calculated by taking a hypothetical $1,000 investment in a subaccount at the offering on the first day of the period ("initial investment"), and computing the ending redeemable value ("redeemable value") of that investment at the end of the period. The redeemable value is then divided by the initial investment and expressed as a percentage. Where a subaccount has less than 10 years of performance data, the non-standardized average annual total returns are shown for periods beginning on the inception date of the subaccount's underlying series fund portfolio.

Non-standardized performance returns are then annualized and reflect charges levied upon policy separate account assets only. Thus, like standardized performance returns, the non-standardized returns reflect fund company expenses and the current policy mortality and expense charge. Unlike standardized total returns, the non-standardized returns do not reflect any policy fee. This product has no withdrawal charge or other recurring charges levied against policy value. For these reasons, non-standardized total returns for a subaccount are usually higher than standardized total returns for a subaccount. Some portfolio advisors have agreed to limit their expenses; without these limits, performance would have been lower. Yields shown are "annualized" yields. This means the income generated during the measured seven days is assumed to be generated each week over a 52 week period, and not reinvested, and is shown as a percentage of the investment. See the prospectus for detailed information about policy charges, including maximum charges and fund expenses.

Past performance is no guarantee of future results. The return and principal value of an investment will fluctuate so that investor's shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost.

The Asset Allocation Program (the "Program"), provided for no additional charge, consists of models that were developed by an unaffiliated third party investment advisor that provided research and business support services relating to the models and selected the specific funds to populate each model from those available in the Policy. Ameritas Investment Corp. ("AIC"), an affiliate of ours, served as discretionary investment advisor for Program participants solely in connection with the development and periodic updates of the model portfolios. In its role as investment advisor, AIC relied upon the recommendations of the third party investment advisor. AIC's role as investment advisor for development of and periodic updates to the models terminated on August 1, 2016. As of August 1, 2016, the models in the Program no longer undergo periodic updates, and the models remain invested in accordance with the most recent model allocations (i.e. the models became "static").
